"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." John 4:23 NKJV

Father God has put out an ad: TRUE WORSHIPERS WANTED. In this world full of people who are worshipers of false gods, wealth, accolades, other people, themselves, God is searching for those who will worship Him from out of their spirit, according to the WORD of God.

The WORD of God is truth (John 1:14). When we become born-again through salvation, we are born of the Spirit (John 3:5). A true worshiper lives in direct obedience to the Truth - the WORD of God. This simply means that whatever the WORD says, this person will do. If the WORD says to forgive your enemies, a true worshiper will do this. If the WORD says to tithe and give financially into the house of God, the true worshiper will do this. If the WORD says crucify self, the true worshiper will offer up self and all its fleshly desires upon the altar of sacrifice. Its this constant willingness to please the Father - even after the song ends - that defines a true worshiper. Jesus was a true worshiper, David was a true worshiper, Paul was a true worshiper. There wasn't anything God could ask of these men, that they wouldn't give Him. There wasn't anything these men kept from God. When a mistake was made, they repented and turned to God. Jesus never made a mistake, but when He struggled in the garden of Gethsemane, His first move was to worship our Father, "Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done."

Excerpts taken from Rev. Clyde C. Williams new series entitled "The Worshiper". Stay tuned for more...
